50 Cent produced film Den of Thieves 2: Pantera lands the number one spot at the box office according to Variety. The movie generated $5.8 million on its opening day from showcasing in 3,008 theaters.

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera continues the story of Donnie (O’Shea Jackson Jr.) and Nick (Gerard Butler), with Nick now seeking to join Donnie’s heist in Europe instead of stopping it. Watch the trailer here.

The sequel carries a modest $40 million production budget and has currently surpassed its debut in January 2018 to a $5.6 million opening day. Moviegoers has rated the film a B+ grade from ticketbuyer pollster Cinema Score.
