Rick Ross Pays $3.5 Million in Cash for Amar’e Stoudemire’s Florida Estate

Rick Ross purchases retired basketball player Amar’e Stoudemire’s Florida Estate for $3.5 million in cash. The gated compound spans more than 2.3 acres and comprises a four-bedroom main house, a two-bedroom guest house, a nine car garage, a secret movie theater and resort-like grounds.

According to Mansion Global, Stoudemire is set to take a loss on the deal, he bought the estate in 2011 for $3.7 million, records with PropertyShark show.

In a statement in People Magazine, Ross says “It’s a sprawling estate in a very secluded area, From the moment I stepped inside, I appreciated the high ceilings and rich detail.”  

Ross has another estate in Fayetteville, Georgia, a 45,000 square foot mansion that was recently used in Coming 2 America, as Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) palace. The estate was previously owned by Evander Holyfield, the home sits on 235 acres and includes 12 bedrooms and a dining room that can set up to 100 people.
