Beyoncé’s latest album Renaissance gives mention to Black-owned luxury brand Telfar, which causes spike in online activity.
“This Telfar bag imported, Birkins, them shit’s in storage” said the singer on track titled Summer Renaissance.
According to Vogue Business, since Beyoncé’s album dropped, views of Telfar merch went up 85 percent globally on TheRealReal, a luxury resale marketplace. On luxury resale site Fashionphile, Telfar searches, page views and “add to bag” jumped 47 per cent, according to Fashionphile’s data analyst Rachel Koenig.
This isn’t the first mention that Beyoncé made regarding the brand. In 2021 she was first seen, via Instagram, rocking a white Telfar Shopping Bag alongside hubby Jay-Z.
