Kehlani has partnered with nonprofit, nonpartisan voter registration organizations HeadCount and Up to Us to encourage fans to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.
The initiative offers one lucky fan a trip to see the singer perform in Paris on November 30th, 2022, which includes concert tickets, airfare, and hotel accommodations. Fans can enter to win by checking their voter registration status at HeadCount.org/Kehlani.The partnership between HeadCount and Up to Us is designed to leverage the organizations’ shared knowledge and track record of success to engage and mobilize young voters to turnout in 2022. The initiative is part of HeadCount’s “Good to Vote” campaign, which most recently featured a contest with Billie Eilish, with several other top entertainers soon to be announced. HeadCount also has a presence at most stops on Kehlani’s ongoing blue water road tour, where fans can swing by HeadCount’s table to check their voter registration, register to vote, and enter the contest.According to a statement announcing the initiative, Kehlani opted to have the winning tickets from this voter registration competition be for her concert in Paris, given its proximity to where the Paris Accord was agreed upon; the 2015 international commitment from all countries to help combat climate change.
