Questlove Teams Up with Gold Peak for ‘Tea is for Trying’ Campaign

Questlove and Gold Peak collaborate to launch “Tea is for Trying” campaign.

The drummer and co-frontman of hip-hop legends The Roots will appear in three Gold Peak ads over the coming months, allowing fans to follow along with his new experiences.

“Gold Peak Real Brewed Tea is made from real tea leaves and real cane sugar, and that’s not changing anytime soon,” said Annie Gately, senior brand manager, Gold Peak. “What has changed is tea fans’ thirst for trying new things, which studies show are at an all-time high. Whether it’s trying to play an instrument, learning a new language or just testing a new recipe, Gold Peak ‘Tea is for Trying.’”

In an interview with BroBible, for Questlove the opportunity to try new experiences came at the perfect time. “2022 is the time period I got out of my comfort zone & explored areas of creativity & adventure & a new pivot. It’s also the most exciting period of this ongoing journey. So of course the Tea is for Trying was right up my alley with the messaging of finding new creative avenues (and ok—a good pun wins me over everytime lol)” said the drummer.
