Pharrell Williams and Miami-based entrepreneur, David Grutman, have partnered to launch The Goodtime hotel on Washington Ave in South Beach. Set to open in April, the rooms start at $260 a night and can be booked on the hotel’s website.
According to Vogue, the project took three years in the making and produced in association with lead developer Eric Birnbaum of Dreamscape Companies. The hotel features an expansive third-floor pool deck, lobby lounge, eatery, outdoor workout area, recording studio, and 45,000 sq. feet of retail space, it’s designed to be a play-land for visitors and locals alike.
“The Goodtime will light up this community,” the music producer said. “People are going to be inspired by what we’re doing here. It will be good energy, good vibrations, good space, and, of course, a good time.”
