50 Cent announced he has joined forces with Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner for an educational program intended to assist three local high schools with low academic performance.
For the program, 50 Cent committed $600,000 in a partnership with Houston ISD, Horizon United and the G-Unity Foundation that will fund the new G-Star program at Wheatley, Worthing, and Kashmere high schools in Houston. The program intends to help students at these three schools learn various business skills that focus on entrepreneurship while providing the teens with lessons at the College Masters level.
