50 Cent To Exit From Starz Partnership as Contract Expires

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will not renew his contract with STARZ, the reps for the rapper/executive producer confirmed to Deadline.


50 is currently entertaining multiple offers from streamers and studios for his G-Unit Film & Television, whose current slate includes 25 series in production and projects in development.

On an Instagram post the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ artist added  “we had nothing but success so no hard feelings” in the goodbye with STARZ.

Power, which launched seven years ago, has been a cornerstone for STARZ, spawning into multi-series franchise.

Recently the second season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan premiere on Starz. In production, a second season of Power Book IV: Force is coming, as is a Season 2 of BMF, a third season of Raising Kanan and a third season of Power Book II: Ghost  all EP’d by Jackson.

Last year, Power creator Courtney Kemp decided not to re-new her deal with Lionsgate and signed a deal with Netflix.
