Eve will release a new memoir titled “Who’s That Girl?”, named after one of her hit singles, to be released on September 17th.
Co-written by journalist and author Kathy Iandoli the book will be published by Harper Collins. The memoir is described as “fearless, empowering, and inspirational.” It will explore her rise to prominence as a pioneering female emcee, her impact on pop culture and fashion, and the struggle to balance her personal and professional life.
In 1999, she made history with her solo debut album, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, reaching number one on the Billboard 200, marking her as the third female rapper to reach that position. She later made history again as the first recipient ever of the Grammy Award®for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for her platinum single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani.
Throughout her career, Eve has released four albums, costarred in 15 films, starred in her own sitcom as well as Queens—alongside Brandy, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez—and co-hosted the Emmy-nominated talk show, The Talk, for three years. The West Philly native will also detail her romance with husband Maximillion Cooper and fertility obstacles.
