Accroding to WWD, it has been confirmed that Balenciaga has cut ties with Ye.  In a statement made the parent company Kering said that “Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.”

The fashion company didn’t name a specific reason for the decision, Kanye West last made an appearance modeling at Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show earlier this month.

Ye has made anti-Semitic threats alongside taking to social media to voice his opinions on his critics causing controversy within the fashion industry and in media. Since then several brands have made the decision to end their relationship with the rapper.

Balenciaga removed all images of Ye from its runway coverage — noticed first on Vogue Runway. Following this, YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA has been removed from not just its own stores and website, but from all retailers globally.
