Uber Looks to Diddy For a Hit In Super Bowl Ad To Promote Subscription Service


Sean “Diddy” Combs will star in Uber‘s Super Bowl commercial to promote its membership service.

In the ad, Diddy who is being courted by three Uber executives asking the Hip Hop mogul and producer to help “put Uber One on the map” with a song. An imposing bodyguard repeatedly says, “Diddy don’t do jingles,” before later adding that Diddy does do “hits.”

The campaign, titled “One Hit for Uber One,” was created by Special Group U.S., the agency behind the company’s last two Super Bowl spots for Uber Eats.

Uber One, which launched in November 2021, is a paid membership service that gives users discounts on rides and food delivery.

The 60-second spot will run in the second quarter of this year’s Big Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 12.
